Up for sale is a pair of 1997 Mercury 250HP EFI 2 Stroke Outboards. One engine runs great and has even compression across all cylinders at 100PSI. The Standard rotation motor runs but has low compression on one cylinder at 50PSI. Hours are unknown. Both lowers go into gear. Trim units work, but the prior owner drilled through the plastic release valve to trim them down instead of just turning it. So this will need to be replaced. The counter rotation motor fires right up and sounds good. the Standard rotation motor will start and run, but again has low compression on one cylinder.
