Lower unit is in used condition. Prior to removal there were no issues. Unit goes into gear as it should. Lower was removed from a running engine with under 500 hours on it. Fluid was drained and was free of any metal or water debris. Unit has also been pressure tested to 13psI for 30 minutes and held.
